Personal Bio:

Tom and his wife Lorie reside on a small farm in Southern Pines with their three dogs and enjoy visits from their four children and first grandchild. When not spending time with family, Tom and Lorie enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, and landscaping. As a former member of the firm’s legal team, Lorie continues to provide Tom with input and insight regarding his cases. The couple embodies the “team” approach in everything they do and Tom will tell you his favorite time of the day is heading home after his work day is over

Tom also serves as the firm’s Managing Partner since 2005 and supervised the civil litigation team at the firm. He has managed and tried complex cases throughout the State of North Carolina and beyond, including California, Oregon, Missouri, Tennessee, and Maryland

Tom is the founder of Sandhills Patriots, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving the youth of Moore County and surrounding areas since 2009. Along with managing the organization, Tom is also active with both fundraising and community service for the organization. He is also committed to providing pro bono services to those in need of help in the Moore County community.
